Edition Policies

What this page governs

These policies apply to prints and editions offered through Ian Bloom Shop, including standard, large, and custom-format works. It is intended to clarify release, handling, shipment, and post-delivery procedure for higher-value editioned objects.

Edition description

Edition details are stated on the relevant product page. Where applicable, product pages specify:
  • format or size tier
  • section or variant, where applicable
  • dimensions
  • edition size
  • signature details
  • framing status

Signature and edition marking

Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page, editions are signed, numbered, and dated on recto by Ian Bloom.

Release and fulfillment timing

Prints and editions may require a longer handling window than books or posters. Signed editions are made to order and may require 2–4 weeks for production, inspection, signature, certificate preparation, and fulfillment.
Oversized works may require 4–8 weeks, custom packing, insured delivery, and specialized handling. Estimated handling or dispatch timing may vary by object and is not necessarily the same as the processing timeline for books or posters.

Shipping charges

Shipping charges for prints and editions vary according to destination, service level, package size, and handling requirements.
Applicable shipping charges are shown at checkout. Mixed orders may incur separate shipping charges where editions are packed or dispatched independently from books, posters, or other objects.
Oversized or high-value works may require shipping and collector handling to be quoted separately.

Separate fulfillment

Prints and editions may ship separately from books, posters, or other objects in the same order. Mixed orders may therefore arrive in separate packages and on separate timelines.

Packaging

Prints and editions are packed according to format, scale, and handling requirements. Protective packaging, reinforced materials, and other shipment-specific measures may be used where appropriate.

Insurance and delivery

Insurance may be applied to higher-value shipments, including editions, where appropriate.
Additional delivery controls, including signature requirements, may be used for certain edition shipments at our discretion.

Address accuracy and acceptance

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Any person accepting delivery at the designated address is presumed authorized to do so. Please review all address details carefully before placing an edition order.

Damage, defect, or delivery issue

If an edition arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact orders@ianbloom.co within 48 hours of delivery.
Your claim should include your order number and photographs of the packaging, shipping label, object, and any interior packing materials. Claims submitted without sufficient documentation may be denied.
We will review the order and determine the appropriate remedy in our sole discretion. Remedies may include replacement, repair, store credit, or refund where replacement or repair is not possible.
For signed, editioned, limited, or sold-out works, an exact replacement may not be available. In those cases, we reserve the right to offer a comparable remedy, including repair, store credit, or refund.

Returns, exchanges, and cancellations

All sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for change of mind.
If you need to request a cancellation or order change, contact orders@ianbloom.co immediately. We will try to accommodate the request, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an edition order has entered processing, preparation, or shipment.
Shipping and collector handling charges are non-refundable once services have been performed, except where required by law.

International orders

International edition orders may be subject to duties, taxes, import fees, or brokerage charges assessed by the destination country or carrier. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
